FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Discover what Movin does, which stages it manages in-house, and how it supports design, assembly, testing, material handling, monitoring, maintenance, and production layout.
What exactly does Movin do?
Movin designs and manufactures assembly lines, process plants, testing stations, handling systems, and industrial automation, both stand-alone and integrated into the production flow.
Movin systems—from assembly lines that govern the entire production process to highly automated and autonomous individual stations—are researched, designed, and manufactured in-house, in constant consultation with the customer and based on the requirements of their process.
Integrated solutions range from different handling technologies to the use of robots and axes, the development of vision systems, and the integration of special third-party machines that complete the required process.

Which phases of the project are managed internally?
Movin manages all phases of the project internally: conception and study of the solution, definition of the layout, detailed mechanical and electrical design, software development at all levels (PLC, HMI, machines, robots, and supervision), mechanical and electrical implementation, testing at Movin’s facilities, installation and assembly at the customer’s site, start-up, and production support.
Internal Project Management coordinates all activities, including any customer suppliers and technology partners whose products are integrated into the system. Movin also provides after-sales support both remotely and on-site, with a trained and responsive service team.
Movin acts as a single partner and project manager for the entire project.

What types of products, sizes, and weights are you able to handle?
Movin designs handling and automation solutions for products with very different sizes, weights, and geometries, selecting the most suitable technology on a case-by-case basis. Our scope of action is not defined by standard limits, but by the correct technical sizing of the solution.
Movin’s experience ranges from applications requiring measurements and controls with micron-level tolerances to the handling and management of large industrial loads, typical of heavy-duty production processes.

How do you manage monitoring, maintenance, and after-sales service?
Movin integrates control and supervision systems, including proprietary ActionHUB software, which enable continuous monitoring of production and the plant, even remotely.
The data collected is processed by the systems to support and plan routine, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance, improving reliability and production continuity.
After-sales service includes technical assistance, consulting, and ongoing support, even internationally, with interventions both remotely and directly at the customer’s facility.

What are the objectives of each project shared with the customer?
Every Movin project is created with clear and shared objectives: to optimize the production flow, increase productivity, quality, and process safety, support line operators, and enable production monitoring and planning, even remotely.
The product to be assembled and manufactured is analyzed in detail together with the customer’s technical team, and the system is custom-designed according to the product, the process (production phases and times), and production constraints (space, time, regulations, specific requirements).
Let’s discuss your production goals and process requirements.
Do you also offer support for industrialization and production layout design?
Yes. In addition to individual lines or systems, Movin supports customers in the design of production layouts, the study of logistics flows, and the integration of systems into existing or newly built plants.
A single point of contact for the design and implementation of everything needed for the production of a new product, from a single station to the entire production system.
Let’s talk about your layout and production organization.
